You must submit your application through the official website https://dvprogram.state.gov/ to avoid being a victim of fraud. You can apply for the Green Card lottery for free through the DV Lottery website. Applications are generally submitted each year between October 6 and November 9. What is a Green Card?
The Green Card is an official document that grants non-U.S. citizens, their spouses, and unmarried children under the age of 21 lifelong permission to live and work in the United States.
Green Card, officially known as Permanent ResidentCard. By getting this card, you can get citizenship from the United States of America after 5 years without losing your Turkish citizenship.
Who Can Apply for the Green Card Lottery?
In general, many people meet the criteria for applying for a Green Card. It is sufficient if you have at least a high school diploma. It is good if you have a basic level of English, but even if you do not speak English at all, it is not a problem. If your school level is below high school, you must be able to prove that you have been actively working in a job that requires professional qualification for 2 years in the last 5 years.
The requested information and explanations in the Greencard Lottery Application Form are as follows:

You must write your name as in your passport.

Here you should write the place of birth in your identity card. If your identity card says “Center”, you can also write the name of the province.
5. Country where you were born
In this field you should enter the country of birth, not the country of citizenship. If your place of birth is currently in another country, you can enter the name of the current country.
6. Country of eligibility for the DV program
If you were born in a country eligible to participate in the lottery, you should answer yes to the question in this section. If you were born in a country that is not eligible to participate in the lottery, you can also enter the country of birth of your spouse or the country of birth of your parents (if neither of them was born in that country and they were temporarily in that country when you were born) as the country of eligibility. For the applicant and anyone else attached to the application, you need to attach a recent photograph taken within 6 months, adjusted to suit the greencard application.

Note: Turkey and the USA have different administrative systems, so writing the “city” in the “province” section and the “district/neighborhood” in the “town” section of your address will not cause any issues. You will have already lost information at the address in a different use.

(2) Some high school, no diploma – high school dropout or still a high school student

(5) Some university courses – university dropout or university student
(6) University degree – university diploma
(7) Some graduate-level courses – graduate dropout or graduate student

(9) Some doctoral level courses – doctoral dropout or doctoral student

14. Current marital status
(1) Unmarried – single
(2) married and my spouse is NOT a U.S. citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR)
(3) married and my spouse IS a U.S. citizen or U.S. LPR – married and my spouse is a Green Card holder or U.S. citizen
(4) divorced – legally divorced
(5) widowed – widow
(6) legally separated – legally living apart
Note: If you are legally married, you must include your spouse in the application. If your spouse is a Green Card holder or a U.S. citizen, you do not need to include them in the application.
Number of children
You must include all your living children who are under 21 years old and unmarried in the application. You must include your children in the application even if they are stepchildren, adopted or in the custody of your ex-spouse, and even if they will not be coming to the US with you. However, you do not need to include your children who are US citizens or Greencard holders.
